The choir has performed a wide variety of music from madrigals and classical pieces to show tunes, gospel and jazz arrangements. We've enjoyed a wide variety in each performance, rarely running with a "theme". We've followed trends throughout the years, and try to mix new and old. We memorize our music, and that helps to connect with our audience.

Our program is typically around 13 songs. It's our habit to retain 6-7 songs from the previous year, and add 3 new ones each season, and fish out a few from seasons gone by. This keeps our learning curve manageable. We've decided to have 4-5 additional "queue" songs that are standard and to be kept brushed up on year-round for any off-season performances (or singing in restaurants & bars!).

We have some arrangements unique to our choir from members and directors through the years. We even have an original Christmas tune "A Christmas Wish" that was written by a gentleman in our audience, Jack Knox, who gave it to us to perform. We were able to learn and perform it for him the year before he passed away. We gained another original "Christmas Dream" by James Potter, who found us via the internet in late 2008.

Some of our music has been accompanied by percussion instruments, snapping, and on occasion, piano. We manage to sway together sometimes, and have even done minor choreography in the odd season. We include props for some silly songs. But for the most part, we are simply acapella singers.

Singing acapella music can be tricky. For one thing, how do you spell it? Are we a Denver A Capella Choir or a Denver A Cappella Chorus? Or is that a Denver-area Acappella Singing Group? Truth is, it's best to have ALL these spellings listed on the site, so YOU the SINGER can find us!
